Google Wallet and empty pockets

The days are not far when one will have nothing but a phone in one's pocket while going out of the home. Google has come up with the term Google Wallet - that aims to digitize everything in our pockets by  collapsing all that paper, plastic and metal into one device: the smartphone. This would mean that the future mobile phones will act as a credit card, driver's license, transit pass, digital coupon collector, house key, hotel key, corporate ID and more probably sounds pretty sci-fi-futurey.
