The Thai prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra has warned residents of the capital city that there is more than a likelihood of more flood water pouring into the the city. She said that the government has laid down priorities for saving infrastructure and building, in which preference and extra protection would be given to historical sites, palaces, hospitals, business districts, utilities and transportation infrastructure. The government has already set up 1,700 shelters which can accommodate 800,000 people. Presently some 113,000 people have taken shelter into these camps.
