Friday UN: Pakistan, Morocco and Guatemala were elected to the 15-nation U.N. Security Council for 2012 and 2013. Pakistan will be sitting with its neighbour and rival since 1947 India for sometime as India's tenure finishes in 2012. Pakistan's U.N. Ambassador Abdullah Hussain Haroon welcomed Pakistan's election to the UN's most powerful body and said he expected to work well with the ambassador of India during Pakistan's tenure of the seat.
