Awhile ago when the film "Slumdog Millionaire" made headlines for its nomination for 10 Academy Awards in 2009 and winning eight, no one knew that one day a real life slumdog will stand smiling holding the cheque of $ 1 Million, the top prize of the popular Indian TV quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati or Who wants to be a Millionaire.
A clerk from a remote Indian village in the eastern India, Sushil Kumar has become the first ever lucky one to win the $ 1million prize money from the host and Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan. Despite being from a very humble background, Sushil's general knowledge beat all previous records and had him win the bounty. The all smiles Sushil Kumar wants to pay off his debt, buy a nice house and enjoy his life with the jackpot.
