Too bad for Bangkok - while floods devastate its people, the tourism to Bangkok becomes too risky and dangerous. Now under floods for weeks now, a red warning has been issued to all travelling and intended travelers to make alternative plans for their holidays. Two of the city's airports are already submerged in flood water while only the main airport is still operating.
The red-alert is to be enforced till November 1, and the date may be extended if floods become more threatening. According to the Thai authorities, 28 provinces have been hit by the flooding which has affected the lives of around 2.5 million people and caused at least 366 deaths since mid-July.
