Although everyone knows that Jobs died because of the pancreatic cancer he was suffering since 2004, the official release of his cause of death made public on Monday indicates that Steve Jobs died of respiratory arrest resulting from pancreatic cancer that had spread to other organs. He died at his home in Palo Alto. No autopsy was performed, and he was buried on Friday.
