The father who made an emotional plea for peace after his own son was killed in Birmingham during the riots that erupted in parts of the UK, has been honoured at the Pride of Britain awards. Tariq Jahan received a special recognition award for the dignity and calm he showed immediately after his son 21-year-old Haroon was killed alongside two other men.
