Just 12 year before, we were 6 billion living on planet earth. But in days we will be 7 billion, a UN report discloses. And another 12-13 years from now, we will be 8 billion in 2025. With ever decreasing resources, there will be more pressure on existing food sources and greater requirement of healthcare. Asia-Pacific region will see a comparatively more increase in its population than in other parts of the globe. The above graph shows a decrease in Chinese population in 2050, but a much larger surge in Nigeria's population from 162.3 million in 2011 to 433 million in 2050.
