Climate change globally has its many pluses and minuses. Deserts are being turned green while earlier green belts are being dried up. This is likely to threaten harvest areas of some of the most selling crop yields in the world, like the cocoa. A study by International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) reveals rising temperatures in the cocoa producing areas in West Africa will considerably reduce coca supply, threatening coffee and chocolate production world wide.
