The crisis in Europe are taking a heavy toll of the governments - after the Greek government, now shadows are being cast on the Italian PM. 

The move is to be seen in the backdrop of Italy's rising cost of borrowing since July, as worries have increased that the country's growth will prove too anemic to sustain its level of spending.

Te statement by Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi to an Italian newspaper may be an indicator to his leaving the PM house: "I want to look into the faces of those who try to betray me."
