Graham Onions hopes to make a late claim for a shock Test recall in England's three-day match against the Pakistan Board XI that starts in Dubai on Wednesday.
The Durham seamer, who has been called into the squad following the loss of Tim Bresnan with an elbow injury, now seems increasingly likely to come straight into the team for England's last warm-up match before next week's first Test as Chris Tremlett is still struggling with an eye infection.
