A winner has come forward to claim part of the record $656m (£413m) Mega millions jackpot, lottery officials in the US state of Maryland said.
The winning ticket was bought at a 7-Eleven shop in Milford Mill, outside the state's largest city, Baltimore.
The winner will split the prize with two others from Illinois and Kansas.
Each winner is expected to receive about $218m before tax. The winners can choose between receiving their full allotment in 26 annual payments, or a lower instant cash option.
