Romney easily wins RI presidential primary

Mitt Romney has easily won Rhode Island's presidential primary.

Romney earned 63 percent of the vote in Tuesday's Republican contest. Texas U.S. Rep. Ron Paul placed second with 24 percent.

Romney was heavily favored. The presumptive GOP nominee and former governor of neighboring Massachusetts racked up endorsements from several top state Republicans.
