Tearful Andy departs Centre Court empty handed

Few hours before, Andy Murray the darling of England was determined to win his maiden Wimbledon title and bring an end to the title-less drought for his country of 74 years.

But now that the event is over and Swiss Roger Federer bags his seventh Wimbledon title, equaling the record held by William Renshaew and Pete Sempras, a tearful Andy, along with his tear full mother and girl friend left the Centre Court empty handed. And also made the Londoners weep too for the loss.

Congratulations Federer and good luck Andy.
