Windows 8 Final Release Date Officially Announced By Microsoft

Wahaab JB at Chip Hazard has reported that Microsoft has officially announced the release date of their next OS Windows 8 set for October 26th this year 2012.

The announcement was made by Steven Sinofsky at Microsoft’s annual sales meeting, and the confirmation was almost instantaneously shared via the Windows Team Blog. It’s yet to be confirmed that the Surface tablets will be available for sale the same day, although it’s widely expected that they and other touchy feel new PC hybrids will be.
