Aafia’s imprisonment a tragedy: Former U.S. Attorney General

Former U.S. Attorney General William Ramsey Clark and Federal Minister Farooq Sattar terming the imprisonment of Dr. Aafia Suddiqui a tragedy said that the government should immediately play its role for her release.

Talking to media on arrival at the airport here, William Ramsey Clark said that Aafia Siddiqui’s trial was not correct, Aafia is a mother and a daughter---justice demands that Aafia Siddiqui should immediately be released---Pakistan should raise this issue, he suggested.

Earlier, the activists of Aafia Siddiqui release movement warmly welcomed William Ramsey Clark on his arrival at the airport.
