Chinese president Xi arriving Pakistan on two-days official visit

Chinese president Xi is arriving Pakistan Monday today to give impetus to China-Pakistan ties, says the Chinese ambassador  Sun Weidong to Pakistan.

The Chinese have invented a unique name "Iron Pak" for Pakistan, a vivid description for the special, friendly and unshakable ties between the two countries, the Chinese ambassador told Xinhua in an interview.

The visit of the Chinese president is being seen as a hallmark visit to Pakistan specially since China gets a 40 years rights of the Pakistan's newly developed Gwader port near the mouth of Persian Gulf on the Arabia Sea - something that is being viewed as the modern 'maritime silk route.'

Chinese president is expected to sign many projects in Pakistan worth $46 billion, which mostly relate to energy, infrastructure and port development projects.
