Corona Update: Darkest day of the crisis in UK - death toll jumps to 759

Today is being termed as the darkest day of the Corona virus crises as UK health chiefs today said the COVID-19 death toll stands at 759 - up by a third from 578 in the last 24 hours.

As reported by the Daily Mail, 181 more victims were confirmed in today's update, a 60 per cent spike from the 113 recorded yesterday.

Meanwhile Boris Johnson and Health Secretary Matt Hancock have admitted they had tested positive for COVID-19.
