Those, like me, who watch National Geographic and Animal World more than other programmes and whose who love amazing animals, here some amazing facts about Salamanders and their extraordinary ability to catch their prey with their coiled spring like tongues. Their tongue uncoil with a remarkable speed, grab the prey and retract with equally fast speed. However, scientists have now discovered that low temperatures can slow down retraction of their tongues.
