This is amazing - the race of rickshaws across continents. The rickshaw race starting from Jakarta to Sumatra, across the Malacca Strait to Penang, Malaysia, and hopefully all the way north to Bangkok, covering a distance of more than 2,500 kilometers is unique race of its kind, which may take up to two weeks to finish or may be more. Some 64 participants from 12 countries kicked off from the Asean Secretariat in South Jakarta on Sunday, heading out in a new fleet of bajaj, with each one decorated to promote a different charity.
