US secretary of state Hilary Clinton is paying a surprise visit to Kabul. Many speculate her intended visit is a step towards pushing the Afghan government to continue reconciliation efforts with the Taliban. The trip comes as the Obama administration continues plans to withdraw its troops from the country.
She is also expected to hop into Pakistan for a two days visit tomorrow and meet Pakistani president, prime minister, the Army and political leaders to discuss matters related to tense Pak-US relations since death of OBL.
