Virginia “Ginni” Rometty

IBM has named Virginia “Ginni” Rometty to be its first female CEO in company's 100 years of history. She will replace Samuel Palmisano on January 1, 2012. Presently, Rometty, 54, is the senior vice president of IBM and group executive for Marketing, Sales and Strategy.
