HMS Somerset, British Navy
A group of British Navy ship HMS Somerset and Royal Fleet Auxiliary Fort Victoria has captured a wooden vessel, alleged to being used as Somalian Pirates as a base station in the Indian Ocean. The vessel had been hijacked by the Somalian pirates along with its crew of 20 Pakistani fishermen. The British Ministry of Defence is quoted as saying that four pirates allegedly involved in the hijacking of The Monte Cristo, an Italian Cargo Ship, on 11 October surrendered consequent to the capture of the boat along with a cache of arms/ammunition and other stolen equipment.
