Williams and Stosur at US Open 2011 Final
It may come as a surprise to many, but the fact is that thirteen-time major champion Sarena Williams has never played at Brisbane, Australia. But now, she has announced to open her 2012 season with the Brisbane International, and may get a chance of revenge Samantha Stosur on the Australian's home soil . Stosur had earlier defeated Williams in the US Open final 62, 6-3 and became the first Australian to win the US Open woman title 2011.
