Boeing bags a Lion's share from Lion Air

Boeing has bagged a "lion's share" in its deal with Lion Air, the biggest private airline of Indonesia. The airline has booked an order of  $21.7 billion with the Boeing for purchase of some 230 short-haul aircraft.

The deal includes an option for another 150 aircraft worth an estimated $14 billion. Boeing claims that the order placed by Lion Air would would be its largest ever "by both dollar volume and total number of airplanes," if finalized.
