In an usual move, a protest was staged by the members of the Portugal Army in capital Lisbon Saturday to protest against the cuts announced by the government to overcome financial crisis it is facing, like all other European countries.
At the army protest, there was anger at government proposals to decimate armed forces numbers and cut back wages and promotions, reports BBC
