Severe Storms Strike Sydney

Severe thunderstorms have hit Sydney, disrupting all flights and causing traffic jams and disruptions. The news reports says 150 sets of traffic lights blacked out.

The weather bureau has issued a severe thunderstorm warning with hail and damaging winds predicted for metropolitan areas and other parts of New South Wales including the Illawarra and central and southern tablelands.
