Business Insider has reported, quoting Reuters that Boeing has just delivered the first copy of the latest and greatest version, the 747-8 Intercontinental, has been delivered to a secret VIP customer.
Boeing has not identified the customer for the plane, but typically customers for jets like this are heads of state or multimillionaires.
While the VIP buyer has not been unveiled, it is known that the Secret Service is searching for a replacement for the current planes that are serving as Air Force One. According to Aviation Week, Boeing is the only bidder to replace Air Force One and the 747-8 is one of the planes they are touting.
