The New Yorkers were amazed to find hardly any snow on the streets
Instead of three feet snow that was 'expected', only nine inches had fallen in parts of Long Island by early this morning, while Central Park had just six inches. However, the streets remained deserted as had warned it would 'most likely be one of the largest blizzards in the history of New York City.'
However, Long Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts continue getting pelted by storm expected to last into Wednesday morning. The driving bans, threats of arrest, canceled planes, closed railways and metro systems and tunnels froze giant cities.
